5'7" height and I bought the medium size. For the price and look, I approve! I have never owned an overcoat since I always felt like it would just consume me or make me look even shorter. Every time I wore this, I would get compliments and I was told that I look taller too.
I'm happy with the value I got out of this overcoat.

This coat looks amazing on my husband! He usually wears a medium and this is a perfect fit . I bought it to replace a banana republic coat I got him a few years ago. It just sat in the closet because it needed to be tailored to fit him. This is way more flattering anyway and no work required. I'd consider buying this in another color.

The coat fits well, but the sleeves will require some shortening. That out of the way, the material looks and feels like quality fabric, the design is very well thought out and the buttons on the sleeves lend it an air of sophistication. It goes well with a suit, but will look just as good with chinos. I bought the small, which fits my 5'3" athletic frame just right.

Love the coat, first time I've put a coat on and it is perfect arm length, material is solid, nice dark blue, definitely size up if you want to layer!
